Guy
Harvey looks at the first ACMI action at Waddington this year
Some
glorious Spring sunshine, a smattering of French Mirages and Belgian F-16s,
some interesting visitors in the circuit and runway 21 in operation presented
the perfect opportunity for some radical photography. One of the best
things about Waddington is the opportunity to get close to the action
by the A15 (taking care of the traffic of course). While we don't advocate
standing directly under the flightpath, unless you have a desire to be
lunch for a F-16 intake one day, standing just off-centre with a long
lens can give some stunning results, as seen here.
Ed's note
- I think Guy just wants to show off the results of his new digital camera
- poor lad can't talk about anything else at the moment!
